BIODIVERSITY
Western Bluebird
Sialia mexicana
Most commonly seen or heard around the baseball field or Deane field, bluebird pairs (the male bright blue and red, the female more faded) live on campus year-round. You can see one parent visiting nestlings in an old cliff swallow nest on Deane Chapel, as well as a juvenile bluebird on the Breeding Birds page.
