BIODIVERSITY

The Lincoln's sparrow is a modest little bird in comparison to the noisy winter flocks of white-crowned sparrows.  It hops quietly along the ground here over the winter months, searching for seeds, a lovely spray of speckles on its breast, and delicate brown stripes across his head.
