Hutton's vireo
Vireo huttoni
This vireo can easily be mistaken for the migratory ruby-crowned kinglet, which is also common here in the winter. But if you look closely, you can distinguish the two by the lack of a dark bar below the white wing bar. These tiny birds are not easy to see—but your best chance is along the campus trail high in the trees.
