If you hear a strange un-dog like series of barks from in a tree at dawn or dusk it's probably a screech owl, the smallest of the three owls on our campus! That's one of their calls, anyway.  The other, captured in this recording, is a rapid, shimmering call that resounds in the night. Listen for them just below Armington, they're often there.
